Make sure you have the latest information on all of Multinail's metal connector products.

Made from galvanised steel, Truss boots are used to connect Truncated or Standard trusses to Girder Trusses or beams.

Start by nailing the Truss Boot in the correct position. Two 3mm diameter nail holes are provided.
Drill two holes through the girder truss to suit the recommended bolt size. These holes must align with the existing bolt holes in the truss boot.
Install the correct size bolts for the truss boot, with the correct size washers.
Fit supported truss into bracket, ensuring truss is hard up against girder truss.
Fix four (4) nails through truss boot into supported truss. The nails can be from one side or staggered.
Drill the hole into the supported truss to suit the recommended bolt size. This hole must align with the bolt hole provided in the truss boot.
Install the correct size bolts.
This bracket must be used with the additional bracing shown in ASS440.
All bolts must be tightened before loading
